Minutes of the meeting of 3/31/17
Meeting Opened at: 1pm
Select Board Members Present: Kenn Basler, Chairperson, Steve Weisz and Carol Edelman

Miscellaneous Items Reviewed:
- M. Noe notified the Board of a $13k and change mistake found made by the previous town accountant – M. Noe and the Treasurer are following up on this and will report back when we have more information.
- Carol and Steve reported on their calls made to the references for the 2 applicants that applied for the town accountant position. Both received high recommendations. The current Treasurer has been asked to call both applicants to get a feel for the work that needs to be done. In the interim the accounting firm will be starting Friday, April 7th. The Board will make a decision on an applicant at next Wednesdays meeting as well as a start date.
A motion was made and unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at: 2:05pm
